| Podere Gli Olmi was an old country house that today has been artistically restored in stone. It is made up of 2 seperate units: The main house and the refurbished stalls that have been transformed into small residences. Surrounded by the country at only 3 km from the sea, the building is immersed in an encompassing park of age old trees and floral gardens. In the park there is a beautiful swimming-pool 10 x 20 mts wide 3 mts deep, with trampoline and sun room. In the main house is where you'll find the reception, the bar and the kitchen. There is a whole wing on the floor, splendidly restored to its antique beauty, dedicated for the dining area. This is a Family owned and operated business; Sabina and Marco run the activity with the help of other family members. Accommodations All 6 apartments are found next to the main house. The apartments are furnished in "poor tuscan art" style and all are complete with kitchen, private entrance and private garden with umbrella, table and out door chairs. Podere Gli Olmi is made up of 6 rooms with private bath, each different and characterized by precious stone and brick interiors. In the rooms, which are very open and bright with double windows, you will find a king size bed, loft, wooden beamed ceiling, and 2 twin beds. Art and Horsebackriding At Podere Gli Olmi we offer a variety of activities and possibilities both on our property and on the surrounding areas. For those who love sketching and painting, we offer a creative stay (by reservation) hosted by well known local artist Maria Cristina Manetti. Both children and adults can partecipate even without any preparation. For those passionate about horsebackriding we have a great deal with a local stall that gives riding lessons (with reservation) for every level and tours on horseback on the beach. |
